Kindroid Pricing: Standard, Ultra and MAX Costs Explained
Based on vendor documentation and notices; this is not a hands-on performance test.
Kindroid offers Standard subscriptions with 1-month, 3-month or 1-year billing, plus monthly Ultra and MAX add-ons. Its public Apple listings show US and UK amounts, but web and Google Play subscription prices are not publicly stated in the sources checked. The Apple item labelled “Kindroid Subscription” costs $15.99 in the US and £14.99 in the UK, with no stated billing period; those amounts are not confirmed monthly prices.
Sources checked 2026-10-22. This is official-document research based on the supplied dated source packet, not hands-on testing or a conversation-quality ranking. “Not publicly stated” means the checked public pages do not provide the amount or detail, not that no offer exists. No currency conversion or calculated monthly equivalents are used.

| MAX subscription add-on | Monthly only | $68.99 additional | £69.99 additional | Not publicly stated | Not publicly stated |
Sources: Subscriptions, US App Store and UK App Store. The subscription documentation establishes the available billing periods; the Apple listings supply the storefront amounts. The unqualified $15.99/£14.99 item does not establish a monthly period.
Ultra and MAX are additional monthly charges, not replacements for Standard. Ultra requires Standard. MAX requires both Standard and Ultra, so the charges stack. Neither add-on has quarterly or yearly billing, according to Subscriptions. Do not read the MAX amount as the total subscription bill.
Kindroid says prices depend on country and platform and that web purchases are usually cheaper. That statement is not a current web quote. The Google Play listing confirms in-app purchases but publishes no subscription amounts. Apple prices must not be assigned to Android.
Free preview versus paid access
| Access | What the checked official documentation says | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free account preview | One-time allowance of 50 messages, 5,000 playback audio credits and up to two Kindroids | Some unspecified regions receive 15 messages instead; this is not a daily allowance |
| Preview selfies | Five credits total: one initially, then one every two hours | At most two held at once; this is a finite preview allowance |
| Paid subscription | Unlimited flagship text access, ten Kindroid slots, 20 group chats, voice/video features, custom voices, media, internet/link access and proactive interactions | “Unlimited” text does not remove separate audio and selfie-credit limits |
| Three-day premium trial | Requires a payment method and converts to paid unless cancelled | Starts with 150,000 audio credits; another 850,000 unlock on conversion, and used trial credits do not replenish |
Sources: Subscriptions, FAQs, Selfies and video selfies and Voice and calls. Regenerate, Continue and message suggestions each consume half a preview message. After free access ends, the account becomes read-only; existing chats and media remain available for reading, playback, export and deletion.
The FAQs say unlimited free messaging ended on October 1, 2026, when Lite was retired. Older descriptions of ongoing unlimited free chat are obsolete. There is also a model-description conflict: Subscriptions describes a flagship preview, while the update log says previews and the three-day trial always use Ember. Do not assume preview access to Polaris.
Credits and usage limits
- Calls require an active subscription or trial and available audio credits; the free preview alone does not qualify, according to Common issues.
- Included audio credits reset on the first of each month at midnight Pacific Time and do not roll over. The current Voice documentation directs readers to Billing for exact Standard/Ultra/MAX allocations rather than stating them.
- In-App Purchases lists V2 speech at one audio credit per character, V3/V3 Fast at 1.5× and V4/V4 Fast at 1.75×. Expressive tags can consume credits too.
- Voice/video calls add 400 credits per completed 60-second block, beyond generated speech. Live Avatar video has additional approximate rates of 2,500 credits/minute for Standard mode or 4,500 for Premium mode, plus ordinary call charges. These are video modes, not subscription names, per Voice documentation.
- Standard selfie credits refill at one every 30 minutes, with accumulation capped at 25. Ultra/MAX refill faster, but exact current rates are deferred to Billing, per Selfies documentation.
The US Apple listing separately offers 50 paid selfie credits for $6.99, 100 for $11.49 and 500,000 audio credits for $14.99. These are extra credit packs, not subscription prices or verified web/Android quotes.
What remains unconfirmed
The supplied research distinguishes live documentation from indexed copies of the official Billing matrix. Current tier-specific context sizes, monthly audio allocations and exact Ultra/MAX selfie refill rates were not independently confirmed in the live matrix. This guide does not present those indexed figures as verified October 22 entitlements. Historical web credit-pack amounts are not current web prices.
The public sources also do not identify the billing period of the unqualified Apple item, current regional web or Google Play amounts, or which regions receive the smaller preview allowance. These gaps cannot be filled by copying another storefront's price or choosing a likely period.
How to check the price before paying
Open Kindroid's subscription documentation, then the Billing screen or store you would actually buy through. Record country, currency, named product, billing period and renewal amount separately. Check the Standard charge and each required add-on rather than comparing MAX alone with another product's total. Confirm current credit allocations in Billing. Keep an unqualified Apple item separate until its period is explicit, and use an actual Android quote rather than the Apple table above.
